AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF 06,324.22 FROM
THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO BE
PAID TO THE TREASURER OF THE UNITED STATES AS THE
1948 PAYMENT ON TILE HEALTH DEPARTMENT BUILDING OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK LOCATED AT 701 WEST MARKHAM
STREET, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PUR-
POSES.

SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the General
Fund of the City of Little Rock the sum of 06,324.22 to be
paid to the Treasurer of the United States as the 1948 pay -
ment on the Health Department Building of the City of Little
Rock, located at 701 West Markham Street.
SECTION 2. The proper city officials are hereby authorized
and directed to execute such instruments as may be necessary
to carry out the provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions of this
ordinance are put into effect immediately, the public peace,
health, and safety of the citizens of the City of Little
Rock will be adversely affected; therefore, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
