AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO ACCEPT BIDS FOR REPAIRING TRACTOR IN THE STREET
DEPARTMENT, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public.Affairs is
hereby authorized and requested to take bids for repair-
ing RD -6 Caterpillar Tractor, Serial. No. 2H6494, cost
not to exceed $1,900.00.
SECTION 2. Because the reRjairs mentioned in
Section 1 of this ordinance are needed immediately for
the preservation, maintenance and construction of streett
in the City of Little Rock, and because there is danger
of streets deteriorating to the detriment of the citizens
of Little Rock and their property, an emergency is declared
to exist and this ordinance is found necessary for the
preservation of public peace, health and safety and shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
