ORDINANCE NO. 7703
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY AT 5418 ASH ER AVENUE, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 5420 AS AMENDED: AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSASs
SECTION 1. That part of the SErj of the NWT Section 8, Township
1 North, Range 12 West, more particularly described as follows: Begin at
the N`i`t corner of Lot 12 in loska Leymer's Addition to the City of Little
Rock and run thence in a Westerly direction along the S. line of Lot 60
in said Toska Leymer's °ddn, aldistance of 190 feet, mere or less, to the
new street (Taylor "t.); thence Southerly a distance 290 feet more or less,
to an iron pin which is 100 feet N. of the Pike; thence Easterly and
parallel to the N. line of the Pike 167 feet, rtore or less to the W. line of
said Lot 12 of Toska "eymer's Addition; thence Northetly along the W. line
of said Lot 12 to the point of beginning; also that part of the S* of NYC
of Section 18, Township 1 N, Range 1ZW, more fully described as beginning at
the intersection of the W. line of Lot 12 of loska Leymer's Addition to the
City of Little Rock, with'the N. right -of -way line of the Little Rock Hot
Springs highway, and run thence S. 57 degrees W. along the N. right-of-way
line 160 feet to an iron pin, on the E. line of New) or Taylor Street;
thence N. 24 degrees, 34 minutes W. along the E. line of Taylor Street
100 feet to an iron pin; thence N. 57 degrees East, parallel to Little Rock-
Hot Springs highway; 167.2 feet more or less to an iron pin on the W. line
of Lot 12 of Toska Leymer's Addition; then,. S. 20 degrees, 28 minutes E.
along the W. line of said Lot 12, a distance of 101.2 feet to the point
of beginning, all in i'ulaski County, Arkansas, being 541.8 Asher Avenue,
heretofore classified and zoned as "B" One - family District under the terms
of Zoning Ordinance No. 5420, is hereby rezoned and reclassified and the same
is hereby declared to be in "F" Commercial District under the terms of said
Zoning Ordinance.
SECTION 2. that ordinance No. 5420 and the Zoning Map thereto attached
and made a part thereof, are hereby amended to permit the reclassification and
rezoning of the abote described property in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
as outlined in Section 1 hereof, said property to be hereafter known and
classified as being in the "F" Commercial District,
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force frcm
and after its passage.
