AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING THAT PORTION OF HOLLY STREET LYING
BETWEEN WOODLAWN AVENUE AND KAVANAUGH BOULEVARD; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES;
VMEREAS, a Petition was filed with the City Council of the City
of Little Kock, on the 9th day of August,19A,8 asking the City Council
to vacate ar4 abandon all that portion of the street designated, on

the/'Plat of the Pulaski Heights Addition to the City of Little -Lock, now
appearing of record in Plat Book 75, at page :211+, in the office of the
Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, as Holly Street beginning at
Woodlawn and ending at Kavanaugh, and
WHE�EAS, after due notice as required by law, the Council at the
time and place mentioned in said notice, heard all persons desiring to
be heard on the question, and has ascertained that the street, or the
portion thereof hereinbefore described has heretofore been dedicated to
the public as a street as herein described; has mot been actually used
by the public generally for a period of five (5) years prior to the
filing of said petition, and has further found that said street $as-
never been opened since it was platted for over a period of forty years;
that all of the owners of the property abutting upon that portion of
said street to be vacated have filed with the City Council their i7ritten
petition for such abandonment; and that the public interest and welfare
will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of said street:
NOW, TH TEFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COTTuCIL OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all of its rights, together with the rights of the
general public in and to the said street desigpated as follows:
Holly Street Prom Woodlawn to Kavanaugh as shown by
the amended- Plat of Pulaski Heights Addition
to the City of Little Rock, recorded in Deed 1iecord
Book 75 at page 214 of the Deed Records insthe
office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,,Arkansas
and more particularly described as a strip of land
bounded on the East by the West Half of Lots 4,5,6
& 7, Block 10 and on the i►Test by the East Half of
Lots 1,2,3,A, & 5, -Block 11, Pulaski Heights Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
and bounded on the North by the South line of
Kavanaugh Bouleva °d and on the +youth by the North
line of Woodlawn livonue.

SECTION 2. That a copy of this Ordinance, duly certified
by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of said County.
SECTION 3• This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after" the date of it's passage.
