AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THAT PORTION OF ORDINANCE NO. Ili"
ESTABLISHING AN ANNUAL PRIVILEGE TAX FOR TEMPORARY PARKING
LOTS, AND PROVIDING REGULATIONS FOR SIGNS, ADVERTISING,
PARKING, PRICES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE RACK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION is That part of Section 1 A of Ordinance No. 7W J4
of the ordinances of the City of Little Rock, passed October 27,
1947, pertaining to Temporary Parking Lots is hereby amended to
read as follows:

SECTION 2. All commercial parking lots, where a charge is made
for parking or storing automobiles are required to have a sign displayed
in a prominent place showing the rates charged for said parking or
storing. The size of this sign must contain an area of not less than
twelve (12) square feet. The lettering must be legible and the size of
said letters must not be less than three (3) inches tall•
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions of this
ordinance are put into effect immediately, the public pead e„ health,
and safety of the citizens of Little Rock will be adversely affected,
therefore, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordin-
ance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
