AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AM ABANDON A PORTIQN OF THE ALLEY IN
BLOBS EL N (ll) Qy. W0 AND 'MEN , ADDITION TO THE.. CITY OF
LITTLE AACE, ARKANSAS, � ND T� ON hMPOSES.
WHlS, a petition was duly filed with the Council of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, on the day of JM22aber , 1948, asking the
City Council to vacate and abandon all of that portion of the alloy desig-
nated on the plat of Worthon;And Browns Addition to said City now appear -
iAg on record in ,Book 28, Page 211, in the office of the Recorder of Pulas-
ki County, beginning at the beet lines of Lots Two (2) and Sixteen (16),
thence, running Last approximately one hundred feet (1000) to the East lines
of Lots One (1) and Seventeen (17), in Block Eleven (11) of Worthen and
Brem's Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Council has, at
the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to
be heard on the question and has ascertained that the portion of the alley,
hersinabove described.,-has heretofore been dedicated to the Public use, and
has not been used by the public,generally, for a period of at least iiV `years
subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all'the owners of the property
abutting upon the portion of the alley'to be vacated have filed with the
council their written consent to such abandonment; and that the public interest,
and weifare,will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such 'portions
of the said alley.
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Lit-
tle Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates
sad.. abandons all its rights,, together with the rights of the public generally,

in and to the portion of the alley designated as follows:
'All that portion of the alley beginning at the West lines
of Lots Two (2)'and Sixteen (16),Ithence running East ap-
proximately one hi red Feet (10QI) to'the East lines of
Lots One (1) and Se teen (17), in Block Sloven (11) of
Worthen and ,BrownEe Addition to the City of Little Rocs,
Arkansas; the Plat, said Bloch and Addition appearing
on record in Bodk" ,•Page 2I1, in the'otiice of Recorder
of Pulaski County..
SECTION 2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the.City Clerk,
shall be filed in the office of the ocorder of Pulaski County --arid recorded
in the deed records of the 'County.
