AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF ONE GREENS+
KEEPER IN THE MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE DIVISION OF THE
PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, FIXING THE SALARY THEREF OR AITD FOR OTHER PUR-
POSES.

SECTION 1. The position of greenskeeper is hereby created in
} the Golf Course Division of the Parks and Recreation Department of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas.

SECTION
2. Person to fill the position hereby created in
Section 1 of this
ordinance shall be chosen by the Civil Service
Commission of the
City of Little Rock in the manner provided by law
and shall possess
such qualifications as are set forth for the position
by the Civil Service Commission of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION
3. The person occupying uch
g position shall be under
the direction and
control of the Superintendent of Parks and Recreation
and shall perform
such duties as prescribed by law and regulations for
such employees. The
salary of such a greenskeeper shall be 4141.56.
SECTION
4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are
hereby repealed. Unless the provisions of this
ordinance are put
into effect immediately, the public peace, health,
and safety of the
citizens of the City of Little Rock will-be adverse-
ly affected, therefore,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and
this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
