AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY
THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS AND
PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN CURB & GUTTER IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 574 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the majority of two - thirds in value of the property
owners owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and
situated in Curb & Gutter Improvement District No. 574 of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of grading,
draining, curbing and guttering West 29th Street, Washington Street,
and West 23rd Street as therein set out, have petitioned the City
taouncil of the City of Little Rock for the construction of said
improvement, the cost thereof to be assessed upon the real property
of said District according to the benefits received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every lot, block
and parcel of real property situated in said District equal or
exceed the local assessment thereon; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $20,950;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock,Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That the said several lots, blocks and parcels
of real property in said Curb & Gutter Improvement District No. 574
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be assessed according to the
assessment list for said improvement district as the same now
remains in the office of the City Clerk, and that per
centum (� % %) of the assessment of benefits of each of said lots,
blocks and parcels of real estate shall be paid annually on or
before the lst day of 1111allof each year, beginning with
eV
ZYAZ- 19 1949, until the whole of the said local assess-
ment of benefits shall be paid.
SECTION 2. All m dinances and parts, of ordinances inconflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage.
