AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZI11C AND DIRECTING
THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE,
TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PURCHASE ONE TRUCK
FOR USE BY THE GARBAGE AND SANITATION
DEPARTMEIVT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and directed to advertise, take bids for, and purchase
one truck with 12 -yard packer type bed for use in the Garbage
and Sanitation Department of the City of Little Rock. Said bids
will include one used truck that is to be traded in as part of the
purchase price.
SECTION 2. The purchase price for the one truck
shallnot exceed the sum of $7,000.00.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in lull force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
