AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $120.00
TO SEND TWO (2) SANITARIANS AND ONE (1) NURSE
OF THE CITY HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO THE AMERICAN
PUBLIC HEALTH ASSOCIATION, SOUTHERN BRANCH,
CONVENTION.
BE IT ORDAINED B?: THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the City of Little IWock, Arkansas the
sum of $120.00 to be divided equal', between two (2)

sanitarians and one (1) nurse of t ey,City Health De-
,s
partment to help defray the expenses of each to attend
the annual convention of the South Ift Branch of the
American Public Health Association t' be held in Dallas,
Texas from April 14 through April l!5,';.,1949..

SECTION 2. The proper city officials are hereby
authorized and directed to take such steps And execute
such instruments as are necessary in order to carry cut
the terns and provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the
provisions of t"Liis ordinance are put into effect immediate-
ly, the peace, health, and safety of the citizens of Little
Rock will be adversely affected, therefore, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
