ORDINANCE NO. 7946
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF WESTOVER HILLS
SUBDIVISION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK BY ORDER OF THE
PULASKI COUNTY COURT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSE'S.
WHEREAS.,
The Pulaski County Court by its order dated March 8th, 1949,
annexed Westover Hills Subdivision to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas,
NOW THEREFORE.,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the territory annexed to the City of Little
Rock by order of the Pulaski County Court on the 8th day of March,
1949, said territory being more fully described as follows:
SW4 of the SE4 of Section 25, Twp 2 N., Range 13 Vest,
Pulaski County, Arkansas; said territory also being
described as ?Lfestover Hills Subdivision to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas,
is hereby accepted, annexed to, and made a part of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, and is hereby made a part of the 5th
Ward of said city.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to trans-
mit two (2) copies of t_lis ordinance to the office of the county
clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed. In order that the citizens
residing in this territory may be furnished adequate police and
fire protection by the City of Little Rock and to preserve the
health and safety of said citizens, an4 emergency is hereby de-
Blared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval,
