ORDINANCE NO. _ 7959 AN ORDINAINCE RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN LANDS ON ASHER AVENUE FROM OAK STREET f' TO TAYLOR STREET IN LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AIMNDING ORDINANCE NO. 549D AS r A1!t]E;NDED: AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ut�DAIIZD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE; ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That all land lying within one hundred and seventy (170) feet of both sides of the present center line of Asher Avenue from the east side of the right -of -way line of Oak Street to the center line of Taylor Street heretofore classified and zoned as "B" One - family District under the terms of Zoning Ordinance No. 5420, is hereby rezoned and reclassified and the same is hereby declared to be in "F" Comrorcial District under the terms of said zoning ordinance. SECTION 2. That a part of the Northeast Quarter (NE0 of the Northeast Quarter (NE4) of Section Eighteen (18), Township One (1) North, Range Twelve (12) West, more particularly described as beginning at a point where the north line of the Little Rock -Hot Springs Highway (Asher Avenue) intersects the center of the right -of -way of the I`issouri Pacific Railway Spur, thence Northeasterly along the North line of said Little Rock -Hot Springs Highway(Asher Avenue) a distance of 114 feet to the point of beginning of the tract to be described, thence Northeasterly along the North line of said Highway (Asher Avenue) 164.5 feet to a point where the said North line intersects the Vvest line of Riffel and Holder's Second Addition, thence ?North along the West line of Riffel and Holder's Second Addition 140 feet to a point, thence West 409.9 feet to a point, thence South 75 feet to a point, thence Southeasterly along a line 97.5 feet from and parallel to the center line of the Missouri Pacific Railway Spur 301.0 feet to the point of beginning, being No. 4616 to 4624 Asher Avenue (Hot Springs Highway) heretofore classified and zoned as "J" Light Industrial District, under the terms of zoning ordinance No. 5420 is hereby rezoned and reclassified and that la rt which lies within one hundred and seventy (170) feet of the present center line of Asher Avenue is hereby declared to be in the '*F" Commercial District under the terms of said zoning ordinance and the remaining part of the land described above by metes and bounds is hereby declared to be in "B" One Family District under the terms of said zoning ordinance. g:. -1 J& 16 SECTION 3. That Ordinance No. 5420 and the zoning Map thereto attached and made a part thereof are hereby amended to permit the re- classification and rezoning of land as described in Section 1 and Section 2.
