AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE
POSITION OF REQUISITION CLERK IN THE OFFICE aF
THE PURCHASING AGPNT TO SECRETARY, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That effective May 1, 1949s the position
classification of Requisition Clerk in the office of the Purchas-
ing Agent of the City of Little Rock is hereby changed to the
position of Secretary.
SECTION 2. The person who fills such position shall
be selected by the Civil Service Commission in the manner provid-
ed by law, and shall receive the same salary as do other secre-
taries in the employ of the City of Little Kock.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approv-
al.
