ORDINANCE No. 7974 -
AN ORDINANCE TO REDIBURSE THE LITTLE ROCK SCHOOL BOARD
FOR DAMAGE INFLICTED ON SCHOOL PROPERTY, DECLARING AN
EENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE RACK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Little Rock School Board be reimbursed X215.00
for damage inflicted on school property during the 1948 summer playground
program conducted by the city.
SECTION 2. Said $215.00 shall be taken from the Cityte General
Fund and charged to the 1949 Playground budget.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed. Un less provisions of this ordinance are put into
effect immediately., the public peace, health, and safety of the citizens of the
City of Little Rock will be adversely affected, therefore, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist.. and this ordinance shall be infull force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
