AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING TIT
E BOARD
OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR AND
PURCHASE ONE CARLOAD OF CREOSOTED PINE POLES FOR
US17 BY THE ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF
LIT''LE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and directed to advertise, take bids for and purchase
one carload (approximately 125) 30 Foot Class 7 creosoted pine
poles, poles to be roofed with one gaen and bored, for use by
the Electric Department of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. The cost of such poles as described in
Section 1 hereof shall not exceed the sum of $1,250.00.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shallbe in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
