AN ORDINANCE LEVYING ASSESSMENTS OF BENEFITS IN STREET
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 579 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a two- thirds majority in value of the
property owners owning property adjoining the locality
to be effected and situated in District No. 5790 organized
for the purpose of paving and curbing that portion of
Kenyon Street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas lying
between Walnut Street and Ash Street, have petitioned
the Council of the City of Little Rock for the construction
of said improvements, and that the cost thereof shall be
assessed upon the real property of said District according
to the benefits received; and,
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and
every block, lot and parcel of real property situated in
said District equals or exceeds the local assessment
thereon; and,
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of such improvement
is Five Thousand One Hundred Thirty and 15AOO ( #5tl30.15)
Dollars;
THEREFORE, IT IS NOW ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the several blocks, lots and
parcels of real property in said District be assessed
according to the assessment list for said improvement
district as the same now appears in the office of the City
Clerk, and that ten percentum (10%) on each of said blocks,
lots and parcels shall be paid annually on or before the

30th day of Apriy until the whole of said local assess-
ment shall be paid.
Section 2. This ordinance being necessary for
the preservation of the public peace, health and safety,
an emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
