ORDINANCE NO. 8017.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 A OF ORDINANCE N0,
74" BY DEFINING AUCTIONEERS, AND MAKING AN EQUIT-
ABLE ADJUSTMENT FOR THE OCCUPATIONAL TAX THEREIN
LEVIED, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That that part of Section 1 A of Ordinance No.
7444 pertaining to "Auctioneers" is hereby amended to read as follows:
Auctioneer - Local - ................. ........................$100.00 per year
Per Auctioneer or Assistant
The term "local auctioneer ", jj$rtiereby deh*d to be an auctioneer
who resides within the City of Little Rick and maintains an office or place of
business within the City.'
Auctioneer - Itinerant or transient.:..

Per Auctioneer miss Cant

The term "itinerant or transin uctionee 4T is hereby defined
to be an auctioneer who does not resid wi the City of Little Rock and
who does not maintain an office in the City, =of Little Rock. ...

An "auction house" is defined to be a business establishment, where
regularly scheduled auctions are held.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
