AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING A TRUCK FROM THE FIRE DEPART-

USE BY THE FIRE DEPARTIviENT, AfIROPRIATING THE IJONEY

WHEREAS,
The City of Little Rock recently purchased a truck to propel
the aerial fire -truck of the Fire Department, and

Said truck has not proved satisfactory, and

The Public Works Department of the City of Little Rock is in
need of a similar truck for use in said department,
NOW THEREFORE,,,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the truck recently purchased for and now
being used by the Fire Department to propel the aerial fire truck
is hereby transferred to the IB�x+. ect 1WHOIDepartment of the City
of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and directed to advertise, take bids for and purchase one truck
to propel the aerial fire truck of the Fire Department of the
City of Little Rock.
SECTION 3. There is hereby appropriated the sum of X39500.00
to pay for said truck from the following funds: $32000.00 from
the Road and Auto Fund; $500.00 from the General Fund. The
appropriation fror^ the Road �-.nd Auto Fund is to pay for the
truck transferred to the 80666 XZ2= Department from the Fire
Department.
SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
