ORDINANCE NO. 8075.
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $300.00 TO PAY
THE EXPENSES OF L . A. HENRY TO WASHINGTON, D. C. IN
CONNECTION WITH THE AIRPORT CLAIM OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, The City of Little Rock has entered into a
contract with L. A. Henry for certain engineering services in
connection with the claim of the City of Little Rock vs. the
Federal Government for non - physical damages to the airport, and
WHEREAS, The said L. A. Henry has expended the sum of
$300.00 to facilitate the settlement of such claim, which has
been settled satisfactory to the City of Little Rock for the
sum of $150,000.00, and
WHEREAS, When such money is paid to the City of Little
Rock by the Federal Government there will be due and owing
to the said L. A. Henry the sum of $3,000.00, and that said
$300.00 expense money should be deducted from the said
$3,000.00 due and owing to L. A. Henry upon payment of same
to the City, of Little Rock by the Federal Government,
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the gener-
al fund of the City of Little Rock the sum of 3.0.00 to pay
the expenses of L. A. Henry to Washington, D. C. to facili-
tate the settlement of the claim of the City of Little Rock
vs. The United States of America.
SECTION 2. Upon final settlement with L. A. Henry by
the City of Little Rock for his fee in connection with this
matter that the said $500.00 hereby appropriated be deducted
from such fee and the City of Little Rock shall have credit
for such amount.
SECTION 3. The proper city officials are hereby auth-
orized and directed to execute such instruments and take
such steps as are necessary to carry out the provisions of
this ordinance.

SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
