AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $89.35 FROM
THE GENERAL FUND CF THE CITY CF LITTLE ROCK TO DE-
FRAY THE EXPENSES OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION DIR-
ECTOR IN ATTENDING THE NATIONAL RECREATIONAL CON-
GRESS AT NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the City of Little Rock the sum of
$89.35 to defray the expenses of the Parks and Recreation
Director in attending the National Recreation Congress
at New Orleans, Louisiana from September 12 to September
16, 1949.
SECTION 2. The proper city officials are hereby
authorized and directed to execute such instruments as
are necessary in order to carry out the provisions of this
ordinance.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this or-
dinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
