AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ISSUE
CERTAIN COUPONS IN LIEU OF LOST OR DESTROYED COUPONS IN CONNECTION
WITH THE CITYIS 412% REFUNDING BOND ISSUE OF NOVEMBER 1, 1935; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the State Bank of DeKalb of DeKalb, Texas is
the holder of Bonds Noe. 43, 64, 65 and 66 of the City of Little
Rock 4j% Refunding Bond Issue of November 1, 1935; and
WHEREAS, it appears that coupons No. 27, due May 1, 19492
detached from said bonds have been lost and destroyed; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to reimburse the
said holder of said bonds for said loss; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to re -issue Coupons No. 27 in the amount
of $11.25 each due May 1, 1949 detached from Bonds Nos. 43, 64,
65 and 66 of the City of Little Rock 4j% Refunding Bond Issue of
November 1, 1935, and to deliver said re- issued coupons to the
proper owner or holder of said bonds, provided, the owner or
holder thereof furnishes to the City such indemnity as the Mayor
and City Clerk may deem for the best interests of the City.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
