AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED
THOUSAND ($200,000.00) DOLLARS, OR SO MUCH THEREOF AS MAY BE
NECESSARY, FROM THE GENERAL FUND FOR USE IN THE AUTO AND /OR ROAD
FUNDS, TO PAY THE CITY'S SHARE OF THE COST OF PAVING CERTAIN
STREETS OVER WHICH THE CAPITAL TRANSPORTATION COMPANYIS BUSES
TRAVEL; AND FOR THE PAYMENT OF OTHER EXPENSES IN THE STREET
DEPARTMENTS INCURRED DURING THE YEAR 1949; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby transferred from the
General Fund for deposit in the Auto and /or Road Funds of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the sum of Two Hundred Thousand
( #2000000.00) Dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary,
to pay the City's share of the cost of paving certain streets
over which the Capital Transportation Company +s buses travel,
and for the payment of other expenses in the Street Departments
incurred during the year 1949.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to issue the City's warrant or warrants for the pur-
poses herein to be drawn on the general funds payable to and to
be deposited in the Auto and /or Road Funds of the City.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
