AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE XD4ERSHIP. OF THE CITY BEAUTIFUL
COMMISSION, CHANGING THE TERMS OF OFFICERS, AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 7494, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
_BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 7494 be amended to read
as follows: "Section 3. Out of said membership there shall be appointed
confirmed by the City Counail a Board of Governors, which
shall consist of not to exceed twenty (20) members, including a representative
from each ward."
SECTION 2. Section 4 of Ordinance No. 7494 be amended to read
ss follows: "Section 4. Immediately thereafter a meeting of the Board of
Governors of the Little Dock Beautiful Commission shall be held. Length
of terms of membership shall be determined by members drawing lots. Officers,
which shall be Chairman and two (2) Vice - Chairmen, holding office for one
year, shall be elected. Officers may succeed themselves. The Superintendent
of Parks and Recreation shall serve this Commission as Secretary- Treasurer
without power of vote. Seven members shall constitute a quoram."
TXDN 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here -
with are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and
effe*t from and after its passage and approval
