AN ORDINANCE CREATING CERTAIN POSITIONS WITHIN THE STREET
CLEATTING DEPARTIENT OF THE PUBLIC J'' ORKS DEPARTP:-ENT OF THE
CITY OF LITTIZ ROCK, FI)MIG THE ! ALARIES THERE'OR, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAITTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF' LIT'LE ROCK,
ARKA14SAS :
SECTION 1. The following positions are hereby created
in the Street Cleaning Department of the Public Works Department
of the City of Little Rock, and the monthly salaries to be paid
for each position shall be as stated hereinafter:
One Foreman $209.06
Three Sweeper Operators 189,38
Six Truck Drivers 175.32
Two First Class Laborers 141.56
Six Cormon Laborers lb5.94
SECTION 2. The perscns chosen to fill the positions creat-
ed in Section 1 hereof shall be selected by the Civil Service
Cor.mission in the manner provided by law, and shall perform such
duties as the City Engineer may direct.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
