AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING AND VACATING THAT PORTION
OF WEST THIRTEENTH STREET IL�6+I MIATELY SOUTH OF
AND ADJACENT TO LOTS 7 and 8, BLOCK 17, JONES AND
WORTHEN'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK$
THE SAME BEING A STRIP OF LAND 13 FEET WIDE NORTH
AND SOUTH BY 100 FEET LONG EAST AND WEST.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Council
Of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 23 day of January,
1950, asking the City Council to vacate and abandon as a part of
a street all that portion of the street designated on the plat of
Jones & Worthents Addition to the City of Little Rock now appear.

Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas* described as follows, to wit
A strip of land 13 feet wide North and South by 100 feet
long East and West immediately south of and adjacent
to Lots 7 and 8. Block 17, Jones and Worthen's Addi-
tion to the City of Little Rook.
WHEREAS, after due notice, as required by law, the Coun-
foil has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all
persons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained
that the said portion of said street has heretofore been dedicated
to the public use as a part of said West Thirteenth Street; that
the same has not actually been used by the public generally for a
period of at least five years prior to filing of petition for its
abandonment; that the owners of all the property abutting upon said
portion of said street to be abandoned and vacated have filed with
the Countil their written consent to such abandonment and vacation
by signing said petition; and that the public interest and welfare
will not be adversely affected by the abandonment and vacation of
said portion of said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, does here
by release, vacate and abandon all its rights, together with the
rights of the public generallyp in and to that portion of West
Thirteenth Street described and designated as follows;
A strip of land 13 feet wide North and South by 100
feet long East and West immediately south of and adja»
cent to Lots 7 and 8, Block 17, Jones and Worthents
Addition to the City of Little Rock.
Section 2. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder in
and for Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Records
of said County.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
