AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE STREET DEPART-
MENT OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby auth-
orized anddirected to advertise, take bids for, and purchase
400 posts for street identification signs. The cost of such
posts shall not exceed the sum of $800.00.
SECTION 2. The Board of Public Affairs is further auth-
orized and directed to advertise, take bids for, and purchase
miscellaneous repair parts for a Caterpiller RD -6 Tractor. The
cost of such parts shall not exceed the sum of $600.00.
SECTION 3. The items authorized for purchase in Sections
1 and 2 hereof are to be used by the Street Department of the
Public Works Department of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
