AN ORDINANCE CREATING CERTAIN POSITIONS WITHIN THE PARKS
AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT TO OPERATE THE J. CURRAN CONWAY
MUNICIPAL SWIMMING POOL AND THE PLAYGROUNDS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, FIXING THE SALARIES THEREOF, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following positions are hereby created in the
Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Little Rock to operate
the
J. Curran Conway Municipal
Swimming Pool,
and the salary to be
paid
for each position shall be
as stated hereafter:

SECTION 2. The following positions are hereby created in the
Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Little Rock to oper-
ate the playgrounds at the War Memorial Park and other places within
the City, and the salary to be paid for each position shall be as
stated hereafter:

SECTION 3. The persons chosen to fill the positions created in
Section 1 and 2 hereof shall be selected by the Civil Service Comm-
ission in the manner provided by law, and shall perform such duties
as the Superintendent of Parks and Recreation Department may direct.
SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
