ORDINANCE N0. 8316
AN ORDINANCE MAKING CERTAIN SALARY ADJUSTMENTS OF VARIOUS
EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS TO BE
EFFECTIVE MAY 1, 1950, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARK-
ANSAS:
SECTION 1. Effective May 1, 1950, the monthly salaries of
the following positions in the various departments of the City of
Little Rock are hereby fixed as follows:

SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed. Unless the provisions of this ordin-
ance are put into effect immediately, the peace, health and safety,
of the citizens of Little Rock will be adversely affected; there -'
fore, an emergency is hereby, -declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
