HomeMy WebLinkAbout8376ORDINANCE NO. _._.83.76-__� AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PURCHASE CERTAIN ITEMS FOR VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for, and purchase the following items for use of the various departments for a period of three months, beginning, +ply' 19, 1950: _.: Meat for animals at Zoo not to exceed 900.00 Feed for animals at Zoo not to exceed 500.00 Aviation gasoline and oil products for Airport Gasoline, oils, lubricants, etc., tires, tubes and repairing and retreading tires for various departments. -Bridge Lumber not to exceed 60,000 ft. Cement not to exceed 500 bags Sand not to exceed 588 tons Concrete: 2000 lb. strength not to exceed 600 cu yds. �- 2500 lb. strength not to exceed 600 cu yds. 3000 lb. strength not to exceed 600 cu yds. 3000 lb. strength qst. not to exc,,ed 600 cu yds. Fuel Oil: No. 4 not to exceed 32,000 gals. 5 Chat - Screenings not to exceed 2,500 tons 3 Rock not to exceed 2,500 tons Road Ballast not to exceed 2,500 tons "dashed Chips not to exceed 2,500 tons Pea Gravel not to exceed 5,000 tons Asphalt: 85/100 penetration not to exceed 401 000 gals. RC -2 not to exceed 40,000 pals. RC -3 not to exceed 40,000 gals. RC -5 not to exceed 403000 gals. Emulsion not to exceed 403000 gals. Prices Per Foot on: Concrete pipe, plain, 4" to 24" reinforced, 2411 to 7211 Metal Round Pipe 101t to 36" Metal Pipe Arch i Bands, 12,14,16 gauge Plain, coated and coated with paved invert 15" to 72" SECTION 2.
