AN ORDIN Ai''CE ESTABLI SHTNG STREET
IMP "OVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 589 OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more than
two - thirds in assessed value of the property located within the
territory hereinafter described have filed a natition praying
that an improvement district be established for the purpose here-
inafter set out; and
1."IKEREAS., after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all parties
desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that sa -.d petition was
signed by more than two- thirds in assessed value of the owners of
real property within said territory;
NOW. THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas]
Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following described property;
Lots 14 to 26 inc., Block 1, Hollywood Addn.
Lots 13 to 24 inc., Block 2, Hollywood Addn.
Lots 65 to 80 inc., & Lot 139, Westover Hills Addn,
for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, .--Puttering and paving,
in such a manner and wfv tip such materials as the Comr.issioners to be
elected for the said improvement district shall deem to be for the -
best interest of said district, the following parts of the following
streets in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit;
'IV" Street from the west side of idchinley Street
to a line described as a line from the west line
of Lot 26 Block 1, Hollywood Addn. extended sojuth
across ttVA Street to the west line of Lot 139
Westover Hills Addition,
and that the cost thereof be assessed and charged upon the real
property above described.
Said district shall be known as Street Improvement District
No. 589 and Howard A. Retzloff, Clyde T. Reed and C. S. Plowman are
hereby named Cor:r:Assiol,ers, who shall compose the Board of Improvement
for said District.
Section 2. This ordinance shall tale effect and be In
force from and after its passae.
