AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9 OF ORDINANCE NO. 7704
AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 7792, FIXING THE QUALIFICA-
TIONS OF THE PLANNING DIRECTOR OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROGK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 9 of Ordinance No. 7704 of the
ordinances of the City of Little Rock, as amended by Ordinance
No. 7792, is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 9. There is hereby authorized to be employed
one full -time Planning Director who shall be selected by the
Civil Service Commission in the manner provided by law. The
Civil Service Commission shall have authority to prescribe
such qualifications as may be deemed appropriate for such
position. The salary for the position of Planning Director
is hereby authorized in an amount not exceeding $4,500.00 per
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
