ORDINANCE NO. 8479.
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A LOADING AND UNLOADING
ZONE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF MARKHAM BETWEEN CENTER
STREET AND SPRING STREET IN THAT PORTION THAT HAS
BEEN CUT BACK; and ESTABLISHING A FOUR CAR 30 -MIN-
UTE PARKING ZONE IN FRONT OF THE HEIGHTS THEATRE,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
When signs are erected giving notice thereof,

it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to
park a vehicle on the South Side of Markham Street between
Center Street and Spring Street in that portion that has been
cut back except for the purpose of loading and unloading
between the hours of S A. N. and 12:00 Midnight.
SECTION 2, When signs afe ";,erected giving notice thereof,
it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to
park a vehicle in front of the Heights Theatre for a period of !,
time in excess of 30 minutes between the hours of 6:Ce P. M/
and 9:00 P.M. This 30- minute:.zone consists of a four-car
parking zone in front of the Heights Theatre.
SECTION 3. Any person violating the provisions of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction thereof in the Municipal Court shall be fined in
any sum not less than $1.00 nor more than $5.00.
SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
ahall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
