AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE HOLDING OF ANY ORGANIZED
CARNIVAL OR TO OPERATE A SPEED DERBY, WALKATHON OR ANY
EXHIBITION OF THIS KIND WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS PROVIDING A PENALTY
THEREFOR AND FOR OTHER PURPOUS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARK.:

SCION 1. From and after passage of this Ordinance it shall
be unlawful for any person, fi or iprporaf�oAx o hold an organiz-
ed carnival or operate a speed c rby, walkOhonlor any exhibition
of 'this kind within the City Lim4ts -o the ity;.of Little Rock, Ark.
SECTION 2. Any person, fist Oij orporat?o violating the pro -
,r- visions of this Ordinance shal], e guilty..• of a Misdemeanor and upon
conviction, shall be fined in thount not leis than $100.00, or
jmore than $500QOO, for each ,bffehse. Each and" every performance
shall be termed a separate oese and be punishable as such.

SECTION 3. This Ordina4ce does'1,not apply to amusement rides
oPerations in anyof the City owned parks, - or
Livestock Show during their semi - annual stock shows each year.
SECTION 4. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
'areehereby repealed.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the citizens
of the City of Little Rock, therefor% an emergency is hereby declar-
ed to exist and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
