AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 6855
WHICH ALLOWED ANGLE PARKING ON SOUTH CROSS
STREET- PROVIDING THE ONE HOUR PARKING ON
CROSS STREET FROM 10JUU M TO SECOND STREET,
AND ON MARKHAM STREET FROM RINGO TO CROSS
STREET: PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY FOR THE
VIOLATION THEREOF AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:

1945, and which permitted angle parking on the East side of
Cross Street from Markham Street south to the alley, be and
the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. That when signs are erected giving notice
thereof, it shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle
in excess of one hour during the hours of 8 A. M. and 6 P. M.,
except on Sundays and holidays on the following streets:
Cross Street from Markham to Second
Markham Street from Ringo to Cross
SECTION 3. Any person who violates the provisions of

court be fined in any sum not less than $1.00 nor more than
$5.00.
SECTION 4. In order to protect the safety of the
citizens of Little Rock, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist, and this ordinance shall be in full force and 'effect
from and after its passage and approval.
