AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE FOUR (4) DUMP TRUCKS FOR USE BY THE STREET
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
E& :IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and directed to advertise, t ake bids for and pur-
chase four (4) dump trucks for use by the Street Department
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. The cost of such dump trucks, with
trade -in allowances for four (4) city -owned dump trucks
described as three (3) 1941 GMC trucks known a -s X -47, X- 147,
X -8, and a 1942 Chevrolet dump truck known as X -39, shall
not exceed the sum of Twelve Thousand Dollars ($12,000.00).
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
