AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD
OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND
PURCHASE A TANDEM STREET ROLLER FOR USE BY THE
STREET DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is
hereby authorized and directed to.a dvertise, take bids
` for, and purchase a tandem street roller for use by the
;
Street Department of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.

SECTION 2. The cost of such tandem street
roller, with trade -in allowances on two city -owned
asphalt rollers, one of which is a Ferguson, known as
X -54, and the other a Buffalo - Springfield roller, known
as X -134, shall not exceed the sum of Five Thousand
Dollars ($5,000.00).
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
