AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRI-
TORY TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, MAKING SAID ANNEXATION
A PART OF THE FOURTH WARD, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the territory annexed to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, by the Pulaski County Court order
on the 9th day of January, 1951, being more particularly
described as follows:
Part of the NW 4 NW 1 Section 7, Township 1
North, Range 12 West, more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the NE corner of said NW 4 NW 4s
run thence West 537 feet; thence South 1305 feet;
more or less to the center line of West 16th Street;
thence East 534 feet, more or less to the East line
of said NW-,'- NW-117; thence North 1308 feet to the point
of beginning;
This tract is bounded on the East by Filtmore
Street, on the North by 12th Street, on the South by
16th Street, and on the West by a line half -way
between Pierce and Buchanan Street,
is hereby accepted, annexed to and made a part of the City of
Little Rock and is hereby made a part of the Fourth Ward of
said City.
SECTION 2. That all the streets and roads hereto-
fore dedicated and shown in the respective plats and bills of

assurance now on file in the office of the Circuit, ClArk, and
Recorder are hereby accepted by the City of Little Rock, Arkan-
sas.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or Darts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. In order that the
citizens in the affected area may be given adequate fire and
police protection by the City of Little Rock, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
