AN ORDINANCE CREATING CERTAIN POSITIONS WITHIN
ME PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTIMIT OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PTjRPOSES.
BE IT ORDAI1ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIC CITY OF LI`2TLE ROCK,
APIWISAS :
SECTION 1. The following positions are hereby created in
the Parks and Recreation Department for eight (8) months each
year:
2 Laborers for the Parks Maintenance Division
2 Truck Drivers for the Parks maintenance Division
1 Laborer for MacArthur Park
SECTION 2. The persons chosen to fill the positions
created in Section 1 hereof shall be selected by the Civil
Service Commission in the manner provided by law, and shall
Perform such duties as the Superintendent of Parks and Recrea-
tion Department may direct, and the salary to be paid for each
Position shall be in accordance with the prevailing wage scale
for similar positions within the City„
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
