AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING,DEDICATION OF A TEN (10)
FOOT STRIP BY THE SAFEWAY.STORES, INC., AND A
THIRTY (30) FOOT STRIP BY ESSO STANDARD OIL
COMPANY, SO THAT ELY STREET MAY BE COMPLETED
SOUTH TO ASHER AVENUE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
'ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. That lands dedicated by the Safeway
Stores, Inc., and the Esso Standard Oil Company, Inc., for
the purpose of completing Elm Street South to Asher Avenue,

and which are hereby described as follows:
1. A ten (10) foot strip dedicated by the Safeway
Stores, Inc., whose deed is dated March 20,
j 1951, and recorded in Book 464, page 69 of the
records of Pulaski County, Arka1 sas;
2. A thirty (30) foot strip dedicated by the Esso
Standard Oil Company, a Delaware corporation,
whose deed dated June 27s 1951, is recorded in 1
Book 4649 page 423 of the records of Pulaski
County, Arkansas,
are hereby accepted by the City Council on behalf of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
