AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14 OF ORDINANCE
\ \. NO. 8656 CREATING SIX (6) ,ADDITIONAL POSITIONS
OF PATRtK,MAN, ESTABLISHING THE SALARY RANGE
THEREOF, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Range 9 -U of Section 34 of
Ordinance No. 8656 be and it is hereby amended by striking
out the number 84 listed opposite the word "patrolmen" and
substituting therefor the number 90, thus creating six (6)
additional positions in Range 9 -U, which is salary range
$215.00 to $21.5.00.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and
unless the provisions of this ordinance are put into
effect immediately, the peaae, health and safety of the
�odtizens of Little Rock will be adversely affected;
therefore an emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval.
