KNOWN AS PINE RIDGE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was dull Filed - :rith the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 12th day of November, 1951, asking
the City Council to vacate and abandon that portion of Van Buren Street
from 24th Street to 26th Street and the alley dedicated from Harrison Street
to Jackson Street, both being designated on the plat of Pine Ridge Addition
to the City of Little Roc?, now appearing of record in Plat Book 4, page
90 of the Pulas?Li County Records, and said addition was reduced to acreage
January 13, 1947 and lies wholly within the SW- SE-1 and N NN SW4 !
SW4 SE-1 Section 7, Township 1 North, Range 12 West in the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, and is owned by the Little Rock Boyst Club, a benevolent
corporation.
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the council has,
at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring
to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the street and alley,
hereinbefore described, have heretofore been dedicated to the public use as
a street and alley; have not been actually used by the public for the past
seven (7) years next before the filing of said petition and have never been
used by the public; and the public interest and welfare will not be adversely
affected by the abandonment of such street and alley.
NOW, THMEFORE' BE IT ORDAINED BY T HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, AR1r'ANSAS :
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public
generally, in and to the street designated as follows:
Van Buren Street from 24th Street to 26th Street as shown on the
plat of Pine Ridge Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
and recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 90 of the Pulaski County Records.
SECTION 2. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public
generally, in and.to the alley designated as follows:
The alley extending from Harrison Street to Jackson Street as shown
on the plat of Pine Ridge Addition to the City of Little Rock, Ark-
ansas, and recorded in Plat Book 4, page 90 of the Pulaski County
Records.

SECTION 3. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City
Clerk shall be filed in the office of the recorder of the County and
recorded in the deed records of the County.
SECTION This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
