AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR TIDE INSTALLATION OF FIRE HYDRAiviS 'WITHIN

ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Whenever the Chief of the Little Rock Fire Department,
with the approval of the Arkansas Fire Prevention Bureau, shall select
'166ations within the City of Little Rock for fire hydrants deemed
necessary for adequate fire protection for the City of Little Rock
and requests the Board of Water Works Commissioners of the Little
Rock Municipal Water Works to install same, the said Board of Water
Works Commissioners shall have full authority to so install said fire
hydrant and charge rental therefor as hereinafter provided.
SECTION 2. That rates for hydrants installed under this ordi-
nance shall be as set forth in Section 1, Article 3, of the Trust
Indenture, dated February 1, 1936, and approved by City Ordinance
No. 5316, passed February 28, 1936, and as amended by City Ordinance
No. 5712, passed March 22, 1939, and as amended by City Ordinance
No. 5914, passed June 10, 1910, and as amended by 'City Ordinance No.
6821, passed September 10, 1945.
SECTION 3• That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed only insofar as they conflict
with this ordinance.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
