ORDINANCE NO. 8811
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR AND LEASE TO THE HIGHEST
BIDDER THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF 21st AND BARBER STREETS,
DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
LEASE WITH THE HIGHEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR SAID
PROPERTY, PROVIDING THAT THE RENT RECEIVED FROM SAID
LEASE SHALL BE PAID INTO THE OAKLAND CEMETERY GENERAL
FUND FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF THE• - >41JUAND `.
CEMTERY PROPERTY, AND FOR ` OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and directed to advertise, take bids for and lease
to the highest and best bidder property located on the North-
west corner of 21st and Barber Streets in the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are
hereby directed to sign and execute the lease of said property
,, J.r�cated on the Northwest corner of 21st and Barber Streets to
the highest end best bidder for said property.
SECTION 3. That all rent derived from the lease of
said property located on the Northwest corner of 21st and Barber
Streets in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, shall be paid into
the Oakland Cemetery General Fund for the maintenance and opera-
tion of the Oakland Cemetery property under the direction of the
Commissioners of Oakland Cemetery.
SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in. full force and effect frpm and after its passa.g .._ ^
and approval.
