AN ORDINANCE ORDERING THE REMOVAL AND RAZING OF AN OLD,
DILAPIDATED GARAGE BUI°LDING LOCATED AT 1505 WRIGHT
AVENUE, DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO TAKE SUCH ACTION
AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO ACCOMPLISH THE RESULTS DESIRED
BY THIS ORDINANCE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the owner or owners of an old,
dilapidated garage building located at 1505 Wright Avenue, which
building constitutes a menace to the public welfare of the citi-
zens of Little Rock and is a fire and health hazard, be and they
are hereby ordered to remove or raze said building upon said
property within thirty (30) days from the effective date of this
ordinance.
SECTION 2. That upon the failure of such person or
persons to remove or raze said dilapidated garage building
located at 1505 Wright Avenue within the time limit set in the
first section of this ordinance, the City Attorney is directed
to institute such legal proceedings against such person or
persons as may be necessary in order to enforce the provisions
of this ordinance and to remedy the dangerous and unsightly con-
ditions brought about as a result of the failure of the owner or
owners of said property to keep up said property.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
r be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
