AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF SIX HUNDRED AND
EIGHTY -TWO DOLLARS ($682.00) TO PAY THE FUNERAL EXPENSES
OF JAMES WRIGHT WHO WAS KILLED IN AN ACCIDENT WITH A
CITY -OWNED FIRE TRUCK; INSTRUCTING THE MAYOR AND THE
CITY CLERK TO ISSUE'THE CITYtS.WARRANT THEREFOR TO MRS.
ANNIE WRIGHT, HIS WIDOW, AND- LINWOOD L. BRICKHOUSE, HER
ATTORNEY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of Six Hundred and Eighty-
Two Dollars($682.00) be and it is hereby appropriated for the
purpose of paying the funeral expenses of James Wright, killed
in an accident with a City -owned fire truck.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and the City Clerk be and
they are hereby directed to issue the Cityts warrant for the
sum of Six Hundred and Eighty -Two Dollars ($682.00) payable to
Mrs. Annie Wright, widow of James Wright, deceased, and Linwood
L. BrickhouseI her attorney, to be used by her in defraying., the
funeral expenses incurred for the burial of James Wright.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
