AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 8728 ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A DEED OF DEDICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
BY THE CHICAGO, ROCK ISLAND AND PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY TO THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FOR A PUBLIC ROAD AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES."
TO CORRECT DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY ACCEPTED THEREIN AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 8728 is hereby amended
to correct description of lands accepted therein, said amended
Section No. 1 to read as follows:
Section 1. That the correction Dedication Deed executed
by the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad Company, in which
land described as follows;
A part of the Southwest Quarter (SW ,I), and a part of the
Southwest Quarter (SWJ) of the Southeast Quarter (SEA) of Sec
tion Twelve (12), and -a part of the Northwest Quarter (NWfg)
of the Northeast Quarter (NE4) of Section Thirteen (13), all
in Township One (1) North, Range Twelve (12) West, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
A strip of land sixty (60) feet in width beginning at a
point on the north line of the South Half (S2) of the South-
west Quarter (SW') of said Section Twelve (12)2 which is five
hundred sixty -five and five tenths (565.5) feet east of the
northwest corner of the South Half (S2) of said Southwest
Quarter (SW4) of Section Twelve (12) thence run east along
said north line of the South Half (S2) of said Southwest
Quarter (SWW) a distance of one thousand eight hundred seven-
teen and two tenths (1,817.2) feet, more or less, to a point
which is twenty -seven and two tenths (27.2) feet distant
westerly from the center line of the Chicago, Rock Island
and Pacific Railroad Companyts Factoria Spur track, as now
located, and produced southerly; thence run southeasterly at
an angle of one hundred nineteen (119) degrees and twelve
and five tenths (12,5) minutes, and parallel to and twenty -
five (25) feet distant from the center line of said spur
track a distance of one thousand five hundred sixteen.
(1,516) feet, more or less, to a point on the south line of
Section Twelve (12) and the north line of Section Thirteen
(13); thence run south a distance of three hundred fifty -
seven (357) feet, more or less, to the north line of East
Roosevelt Road; thence run west along said north line of
East Roosevelt Road a distance of sixty (60) feet; thence
run north at right angles a distance of three hundred fifty -
seven (357) feet; thence run northwesterly parallel to and
eighty -five (85) feet distant, from the center line of said
spur track, as now located and produced, a distance of one
thousand four hundred forty -seven (1,447) feet, more or less;
thence run west parallel to and sixty 60) feet southerly
from the north line of the South Half (S2) of the Southwest

Quarter (SWj) of Section Twelve (12), a distance of one thous-
and seven hundred eighty and six tenths (1,780.6) feet, more
or less, to a point sixty (60) feet south of the point of be-
ginning; thence run north sixty (60) feet to the point of be-
ginning, and containing five and four hundredths (5.04) acres,
more or less, I
is dedicated to the public for use as a public street, be and the
same is hereby accepted and the land described above be and the
same is hereby made a part of the public street system of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
