AN ORDINANCE MAKING IT UNLAWFUL TO CONCEAL, ERASE THEREFROM,
OR MOVE ANY CAR PARKED IN A RESTRICTED ZONE, FOR THE PURPOSE
OF ERASING OR CONCEALING ANY MARK-PLACED THEREON BY TRAFFIC
POLICE WHEREBY THEY MIGHT DETERMINE THE DURATION OF TIME THAT
SAID CAR IS PARKED IN SUCH RESTRICTED ZONE; PROVIDING THAT A
CAR PARKED IN SUCH RESTRICTED ZONE SHALL = BE CONSIDERED
LAWFULLY MOVED UNLESS IT IS DRIVEN FROM THE CURB INTO.THE..
STREET AND THROUGH AN INTERSECTION BEFORE BEING.PARKED.AGAIN;
PROVOING A PENALTY FOR- �IOIATION.OF „This ORDINANCE;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person to
conceal, erase from or move any car parked in a restricted zone, for
the purpose of erasing or concealing any mark placed thereon by
Traffic Police whereby they might determine the duration of time '
that said car is parked in such restricted zone.
SECTION 2. That any car parked in a: restricted zone, to be
considered lawfully moved therefrom, shall be moved out of said park-
ing space and driven through an intersection before being parked again.
SECTION 3. That violation of this ordinance shall be
punished by a fine of not less than Five Dollars ($5.00) nor more
than Twenty -Five Dollars ($25.00).
SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed; and it being found that as a
result of illegal parking in restricted zones, traffic lanes have become

congested, and traffic problems have been greatly increased in the City,
C with the result that the peace and welfare of the City are in danger,

ais emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect immediately upon its passage and approval.
