HomeMy WebLinkAbout8865ORDINANCE NO. 8865 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR AND PURCHASE FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT ZONING PAINT, TRAFFIC MARKERS, ONE ASPHALT BUGGY, ASPHALT CEMENT, ASPHALT PRIMER, SIGNPOSTS, AND SIGNS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized and directed to advertise, take bids for and purchase for use by the Police Department of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, four hundred and fifty (450) gallons of zoning paint with glass spheres at an approximate cost of Two Thousand and Seventy -Five Dollars ($2,075.00); six thousand (6,000) plastic traffic markers, 3x6x1/8, white, at an approximate cost of Four Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($$50.00); one (1) asphalt buggy complete with gasoline heating furnace at an approximate cost of Seventy Dollars ($70.00); six hundred (600) pounds of asphalt cement at an approximate cost of Thirty Dollars 030.00); forty (40) gallons of asphalt primer at an approximate cost of Fifty Dollars • 050.00); three hundred (300) 8 -foot steel channel signposts at an approximate cost of Five Hundred and Eighty- Five,Dollars 0585.00); seventy -five (75) 10 -foot steel channel signposts at an approximate cost of One Hundred and Sixty -Five Dollars ($165.00), and ninety -five (95) 24x2k enameled signs 'at an approximate cost of Two Hundred and Twenty Dollars ($220.00). SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
