ORDINANCE NO. 8880
AN ORDINANCE RELEASING, VACATING AND ABANDONING THE PLATTED
ALLEY IN BLOCK 8, OF PERRY HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 7th day of April, 1952, asking the
City Council to vacate and abandon all that portion of the alley desig-
nated on the plat of Block 8, of Perry Heights Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas,.now appearing of record in Plat Book 1 at Sheet
27 in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, beginning
at Maryland Avenue and ending at West 10th Street; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Council has, at
the time and place mentioned in the notice,/,heard all persons desiring
to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the alley, her einbe -
fore described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use as an
alley herein described; has not been actually used by the public generally

have filed with the Council their written consent to such abandonment;
and that public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by
the abandonment of such alley, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkcansas, hereby releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the
public generally, in and to the alley designated as follows:
The alley designated on the plat of Block 8, Perry
Heights Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
now appearing of record in Plat Book 1 at Sheet 27 in
the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas,
beginning at Maryland Avenue and ending at West Tenth
Street.
SECTION 2. A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City
Clerk of Little Rock, Arkansas, shall be filed in the office of the Re-
corder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Records of
said County.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
