AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING AND VACATING THAT PART OF THE ALLEY
RUNNING NORTH AND SOUTH THROUGH BLOCK 42 OF BRAGGiS SECOND
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, LYING SOUTH OF THE SOUTH
RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF ROOSEVELT ROAD IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
AND BETWEEN THE WEST LINE OF LOT 10 AND THE EAST LINE OF THAT
PART OF LOT 11, BLOCK 42, OF SAID ADDITION, LYING SOUTH OF
SAID RIGHT OF WAY LINE.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 7th day of April, 1952,
asking the City Council to vacate and abandon that part of the alley
designated on the plat of Braggts Second Addition to the City of
Little Rock now appearing of record in Plat Book 2, at Page 44, in
the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, described
as follows:
That part of the alley running North and South through
Block 42 of Braggts Second Addition to the City of Little Rock,
lying South of the South right of way line of Roosevelt Road
in the City of Little Rock and between the West line of Lot 10
and the East line of that part of Lot 11, Block 420 of said
,Addition, lying South of said right of way line.
WHEREAS, after due notice, as required by law, the Council
has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all per-
sons desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that
the said part of said alley has heretofore been dedicated to the
public use; that said dedication was made more than five years ago;
that the same has not actually been used by the public generally for
a period of at least five years prior to filing of petition for its
abandonment; that petitioner herein is the only owner of property
abutting upon said part of said alley to be abandoned and vacated
has by the filing of its petition herein given written consent re-
quired by law to such abandonment and vacation; and that the public
interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandon-.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, does here-
by release, vacate and abandon all its rights, together with the
rights of the public generally, in and to:
That part of the alley running North and South through
Block 42 of Bragg's Second Addition to the City of Little Rock,
lying South of the South right of way line of Roosevelt Road
in the City of Little Rock and between the West line of Lot 10
and the East line of that part of Lot ll, Block 42, of said
Addition, lying South of said right of way line.
SECTION 2. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified by
the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder in
and for Pulaski County, Arkansas, and recorded in the Deed Records
of said County.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
